Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Ensure prompt, efficient and friendly customer service. Ensures all customer complaints, adjustments and returns are handled in a quick and efficient manner. Handle Warranty issues with customers and claims with suppliers with leadership.
2.Focus on growing sales of ag equipment (bins, augers, livestock equipment, fuel tanks and poly tanks) and achieving agreed upon sales targets.
3.Participate in loading and unloading of ag equipment and other products as required. Assist customers with determining replacement parts when required. Ensure all in-stock ag equipment is ready for sale at all times.
4.Ensures the efficient operation of the department to achieve all financial targets and deliver on budgeted KPI’s. Will plan, monitor and manage internal projects from initiation to completion.
5.Assist the General Merchandise Manager in communicating operational requirements, operational changes and translate the vision into departmental initiatives. Provide recommendations and supports internal pricing, promotion and product policies in response to local market needs and competition. Promotes and ensures adherence to brand and merchandising standards, marketing efforts and image standards.
6.Grow and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of our product offerings and options on our equipment.
7.Maintain accurate records and update our sales CRM with customer interactions and territory activity.
8.Maintain current customer relationships and grow new customer accounts.
9.Follow up promptly on quotations, equipment deliveries and customer inquiries.
10.Ensures all company policies and procedures are communicated and adhered to and ensures safety and regulatory requirements and procedures are implemented and maintained.
11.Travel is required within sales area.
12.Other duties as assigned


REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12 is preferred. Must hold valid class 5 license, clean drivers abstract, able to read a map and follow specific instructions. Heavy lifting and standing for extended periods of time. Position classified as a Safety Sensitive Position: therefore, is subject to Pioneer Co-op’s Alcohol & Substance policy as a condition of employment. Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
