CLERK I (STUDENT) HOME CENTRE

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To provide information, assistance and service to customers in a manner which will promote the sales of merchandise and meet the needs, requirements and expectations of the consumer.
2. To receive merchandise and meet the needs, requirements and expectations of the consumer.
3. To operate and maintain all equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
4. To pick, prepare products as directed by the manager.
5. Ensuring proper storage of inventory in all areas.
6. Perform housekeeping duties in all areas of Home & Agro building facilities and yards.
7. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
A valid Class 5 would be considered an asset. Have a positive, professional approach and attitude. Able to work a variety of shifts including weekends. A pleasant and out-going personality. A desire and ability to work with the public. Physically able to do heavy lifting, climbing and kneeling. Forklift certification would be an asset. Home Centre & Agro product knowledge an asset. Considered Safety Sensitive Position; Therefore, is subject to Pioneer Co-op’s Alcohol & Substance policy as condition of employment.
