HR ADVISOR (TEMP. FULL-TIME)
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Facilitate the talent acquisition of management/non-management positions for Pioneer Co-op.
• Facilitate on-boarding/integration for both team members and team leaders in both new team member situations but also with respect to talent management practices so roles and responsibilities are clearly understood.
• Assist HR Manager, Managers and Supervisors in situations specific to the Collective Agreement/Labour Law including interpretation of the Collective Agreement, Employment Act and Pioneer Co-op Policies.
• Generate reports and provide interpretations for the HR Manager and Senior Leadership Team.
• Coordinate and assist HR Manager and the Senior Leadership Team in all aspects of training, development and succession planning for Pioneer Co-op.
• Provide coaching and support to team leaders and team members on all aspects of talent management practices (goal setting, performance coaching, development coaching, etc.).
• Support and assist in the recommendation and implementation of health & safety policies, benefits and compensation, employee and family assistance program.
• Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or Degree, preference for Human Resources. Previous Human Resources and Co-op retail experience is preferred. CPHR designation is considered an asset. Position classified as a Safety Sensitive Position: therefore, is subject to Pioneer Co-op’s Alcohol & Substance policy as a condition of employment.
