Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide an exceptional level of customer service
2. Assist with quotations and special-order requests
3. Assist customers with product selection and provide recommendations based on projects, building practices and product knowledge.
4. Build and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, tradespeople and key customer accounts
5. Follow up with quotations, estimates, special orders, and customer inquiries to ensure high level of customer satisfaction
6. Process customer orders and purchases using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system with accuracy
7. Inspect, receive, and maintain inventory control, shelf management and merchandise presentation
8. Maintain accurate pricing, promotional displays, markdown reports, and inventory records
9. Assist management with workflow coordination, and daily operational activities
10. Maintain a safe and efficient operation while adhering to policies, procedures and standards
11. General housekeeping duties
12. Other duties as assigned


REQUIREMENTS
Strong organizational, communication and customer service skills. Three to Five years of knowledge in building materials, contractor sales, estimating, construction, project coordination or related industry experience preferred. Experience preparing building material estimates and quotations is considered a strong asset. Proficient in computer systems, POS systems and estimating software.
