CLERK II BOOKKEEPING (PART-TIME)

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist Clerk III dispatcher in all areas related to scheduling, communication of job details, tracking job progress and maintaining dispatch board/software. Ensure proper documentation and job notes are collected from journeypersons and safety rules and vehicle checks are performed as required. Send appointment confirmations and reminders to customers, ordering parts and materials and monitoring inventory.
2. Answering and directing phone calls, mail, faxes, assist with customer inquiries, filing, assisting with dispatching and other administrative duties.
3. Assist Clerk II (Bookkeeping) with bookkeeping duties (processing invoices, cut-off duties, warranty claims, checking work orders for proper supplies, price & invoice work orders, prepare gas, plumbing, electrical and propane permits, maintain commercial and residential project files, reconcile projects, maintain receiving books, cash ups, maintain equipment/asset files, process agreement rebates, tap and tune up programs (SaskEnergy). Maintain rental water heater/softener information (payments due, maintenance and invoices). Monitor advertising dollars.
4. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have experience with dispatch and bookkeeping, good computer skills such as experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Access. Must be detail orientated. Previous experience in plumbing is an asset. Requires excellent interpersonal,
communication and organizational skills. (Averages 24-40 hours/wk).
