CLERK I MEAT (CASUAL)
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide customer service to customers, by assisting customers, and providing information and product knowledge, which is maintained through being dependable for all shifts.
2. Assist in the cleaning and sanitization of the Meat Department
3. To be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and storage of produce when assigned.
4. Prepare, assemble, and display all meat related inventories including value-added products.
5. Maintain adequate inventory levels and stock when assigned.
6. To meet and surpass all safe food handling regulation standards.
7. To be familiar with and adhere to Pioneer Co-op policies and procedures.
8. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Applicant must be able to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends.
2. Knowledge and experience with produce considered an asset.
3. Have a positive, professional approach and attitude.
4. A desire and ability to work with the public
5. Physically able to do heavy lifting.
6. Ability to multi-task.
7. Position is classified as Safety Sensitive; Therefore is subject to Pioneer Co-op’s Alcohol and Substance policy as condition of employment.
